Kauto Star win
Kauto Star returned to winning ways for the 2007-8 season at the weekend. In his initial race of the season, he was beaten into second place but was giving a lot of weight to the winner. I expect his next big race will be the King George Chase on Boxing Day and he will be the favourite to win.

I was in the UK for Xmas and watched the King George Chase on TV. Kauto Star looked very well in the paddock and raced very impressively. He won easily and on this type of form I expect he will be difficult to beat at Cheltenham in March. However I hope that there are a few contenders to give him a good race and find out how good he really is.
