Death Of Barbaro

I was very saddened by the news on Monday that Barbaro had been put down after furtherÂ complications this weekend. I was really hoping that he would win his long battle following his racecourse injury in May.

It also mentioned in the news article that when he won the Kentucky Derby by 7 lengths that this was the longest winning distance for 60 years.

I think many of us were hoping he would win this battle. It’s very sad. such a great horse.
